Crew Vs. Rogue

I searched around, but couldn't find a topic like this.. If it's in the wrong place, let me know, but I'm mostly sure it's right.

Besides being a (fairly inactive) member of the graffiti life, I also study it.

Two questions:

Do you work alone or with a crew most of the time?

And why do you do what you do?

I know the advantages to both, and the disadvantages, but any insight as to what goes on in your head would be awesome.

I'm in a crew but generally i'm out tagging alone. most of the time i'm with friends who don't do graffiti and i just do some tags while we're movin along the city streets. when i am with my crew lately we havn't been doing any bombing just tagging places to all hell. Once the local store gets some more paint we're prolly going to go bomb a few places we've been looking at for a while. I like casual tagging :D it's nice.

I'm assuming 'casual tagging' would mainly consist of markers, then?

generally, i like marker tagging more than paint tagging, comes to me easier.

Where does your main source of inspiration come from? (both for when you're alone and when you're with your crew)

i feel like getting up around town, anywhere and everywhere, makes me somewhat of a star. in the graffiti community at least. my drive is to get up! and hella up too. easiest way is alot of tags for me. I'm going to start bombing more often, and hopefully find a place for a piece soon.

i go on my own or with people i can trust
never been in a crew i would be if the people i trusted most wrote
besides this means i can do what i want, dont have to argue over spots etc

we are talking about walking to the corner shop arent we? because i dont do graffiti

Of course we don't. It's illegal and we all know that none of us would EVER do anything illegal.
