Quake modding Quake modding
I am a quake modder. Dor some of you who don't know, quake modding is basically taking a game, and moddifing the hell outta it. Then in the end result, you have a new game. But it does take alot of work and effort to make the game happen.
Anybody can develop a game if they can gather a group of people that can use some programs like:
_Worldcraft (used to make the maps that users will play on)
-Blender, 3ds max, milkshape )Used to create models like enemies and health and players and crap like dat. Also used to animate the models so they can move and look cool)
-Photo shop, Gimp (used to make sprites and graphics like gunfire and health bars)
Then there are real helpful people like quakec coders and c coders that have to make sure the game reads the models and stuff, and there is music composers that make music.
Quake modding is very deep and fun. Some of the cool mods being developemd for psp (cfw psp) is left 4 quake( a left 4 dead clone),
Solitude( a really great halo psp~unreleased) Prime (a metroid Prime clone), and many other mods.

then just go to psp and click on some updates. You can see the solitudes ghost that is on the psp(awesome) can you imagine driving a ghost or killin someone with a needler on the psp? well it's possible, and will have online play.
