Default Preventing spray dripping

So I've been paintin my room, but didnt wanna use a paintbrush so i decided to hit up an urban look and spray paint stuff in my room. I've been practicing and found its hella fun. So I really don't care if the stuff in my room looks good or not, i just wanna pull off the urban look. But as always, i hit a problem, the paint already on the wall is causing a bit of dripping from the paint. Is there anyway to move past this? I wanna prevent the drip, but I wanna keep a solid spray and not specks of paint as my lines. any tips?

Just buff the paint thats on your wall now. Or use a thicker paint, what type are you using now?
