now thats a start. atleast you know how the 3-d is supposed to placed. i would still say that you need to work on your letters. start off with some basic shit, first sketch straight letters, add some twist into them, so that they can be placed further or nearer the point your going to do the 3-d.(im not sure if this sounds like it makes sesne, but bare with it)

second, start taking bits off the straight letters, and add some wave-motion and shit like that. its all about the first impression. so, basically make your letters look like letters, and start adjusting them. i bet no one got their smooth curves down on the first try, so just sketch, sketch and sketch
