ive always had that same, err, "philosohpy" (??), in the back of my mind. id say, its alright for toys to bite sections or parts of a style, but if u bite the whole thing, i have no respect for you. i really admire ppl who use an original thought process, or idea that their work is based on.

"everyone bites to some extent, but its the ones who do it with the wrong intentions, that i have no respect for"
-me

oh and graz, resize that homie, s'huge

you know what im saying tho. i DO NOT CONDONE BITING and saying its YOUR ideas etc... only for the learning experience because with the wildstyles of today...shit, beginers have no chance in hell of getting anywhere. you GOTTA see whats out there and emulate it in some sort of way just to have an idea of whats good. Ideas WILL flow after you have a base to stand on.

yeah that pic is enormous. i had to move my screen all around just to see it. peace izout

oh and... if you actually DO bite a complete peice or whatever and do it good... thats alot better than going to wiggles graf site and totally biting those letters and saying its YOUR style ya dig? cuz at least youre getting a feel of how to do specific letters by drawing them by hand. (to be used as an educational tool ONLY!!!)

Default to the

to the thing about biting peoples style, the way i started was basically my friend started writing and he wrote how the person who got him into it did. i was looking into starting and was just doodling and made a cool little shape that kind of looked like an Le and i am a french student (3rd year) and decided it would be cool to use a foreign language to write in. at first i was writing LeSick and other things just for myself in a little notebook, but i decided it should be fully french and made LeSoir final. It means the evening or the night. But in all reality my style isn't like anyone i know personally who writes. and it's just how i started. no biting. but i guess i can understand what you mean. my AFX is sort of like a few peoples. i'm hoping to get some pictures up soon of what i write but we'll see. basically what i'm saying is i started out just doodling with graff in mind. thanks!

LeSoir out.
