ive actually visited and ate in an amish town in michigan or wisconsin i forget it was a while back.

yeah, ive met plenty of amish people out in lancaster county, pennsylvania, theyre only allowed to wear three different colors of shirts. seriosuly it sorta makes me sad, when someones born into stuff like that...i guess what they dont know cant hurt em right?

its their way of life, if theyre happy the way they are, then let them be. We may think theyre old fahioned and out of date and that their life is hard because they dont have electricity...But come on, thats one less thing they have to worry about right? No owrries about power shortages...Like in Y2K, everyone was scrambling for batteries, water and firewood. I bet the amish people were indifferent.
