Biting practice haha :lol: ... Trust me your better off just getting ideas, not entire pieces. And you won't get anywhere just copying people. Gotta develop your own style havent you.

if hes doing it for practice its all good its a good way to get new ideas variation etc. if your just starting bite whole pieces into your blackbook (dont trace them) then when you come to create your own styles you will have a mixture of ideas

if you can thought try and contact the person to ask them im not bothered who does what to my stuff if its for practice but some people are

Yeh but he didn't say it was spars work did he, even though it was blatantly obvious.

I still think it's better doing your own letters but I see where your comin form scan.

creating your own letters is very important but in any artform you do the basics then make your own work
when i was starting i got flicks and sketched them onto paper this way you learn the letters and wont mess up when you start doing you own
i know what you mean though

Done for a contest on some other forum.. The scan job sucks 'cause I was rushin' it and couldn't get the stupid scanner to do it right..

But it says "Alert" (The word for the battle) and the little karak is Buzzwit. He's awesome as hell.

Tips?

i like it alot actually nice e and the karak is kool, people wouldnt find it lame if u did real pieces likewith a fill an all,then just typographie, but i have to say its really well done so idk.....
